In 2022 DPAA worked to expand our direct outreach inside the prisons holding death row prisoners in Arizona to provide better direct support.

We've learned that many on the row greatly enjoy reading but often lack the resources to request educational, therapeutic, and entertaining books from outside sources.

We launched Reading on The Row in the November of 2022, and since then we have filled 33 book requests.
